I'm thinking about the next clock build and I'm certain I will employ another John Harrison styled escapement. Similar to the M14 Grasshopper escapement, this next iteration will be a twin pivot BUT, connected to a single pendulum via a single lever (see the pic below). I haven't chosen woods yet but, do expect that I'll use up some the figured Big Leaf Maple that I have left over from the M14 build. I'll be adding posts as the build progresses. Don't expect to start until after the New Year.
